Enhance your CarMotion system with in-vehicle sound. The retrofittable sound modules are vehicle-specific and therefore mechanically, color-wise, and acoustically adapted to the respective models.
They play engine sounds from starting and stopping, as well as various driving-related sounds such as gear changes, brake squeal, and – depending on the vehicle type – a reversing warning signal. The horn – and, if present – ​​the siren – can be switched on and off.
The engine sound volume is adjustable. The switchable and adjustable sounds can be activated via remote control, DCC command, or infrared command/magnet sequence.
The sound module's circuit board is simply connected to the vehicle's circuit board using a four-pin connector and screwed in place. The existing left-side components, such as the exhaust, air tanks, etc., are replaced by the new components, which contain the speaker. Please note that vehicles without the four-pin expansion socket cannot be equipped with a sound module.
Power output 250 mW, efficiency 81 dBA, frequency range approx. 800 – 10 kHz.
