Consisting of a 1st class Eurocity coach, class Apm, and a 2nd class Eurocity coach, class Bpm.

In the course of the merger of the former Cisalpino (CIS) carriages into the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB), their fleet also became somewhat larger for some time more colorful. One of the trains that was particularly “colorful” over a long period of time is the Eurocity train pair 6/7. The train was run from Chur in Switzerland via Zurich HB and Basel SBB to Mannheim, Dortmund and on to Hamburg.
