The Ty2 series steam locomotives of the Polish State Railways (PKP) were in service from 1942. They are wartime locomotives of the German Reichsbahn's Class 52. After World War II, 1,207 locomotives of this series remained with the PKP. Until the end of steam traction, the Ty2 was the largest locomotive series in Poland. Several locomotives of this series have survived to this day.
