In autumn 2020, the first locomotives of the EB series were delivered to the Danish State railways delivered. The order includes 42 Vectron machines from the manufacturer Siemens. The new locomotives with push-pull control will mainly be used in front of the double-decker trains and in regional traffic on Zealand. They replace the aging ME diesel locomotive series on the now electrified routes.
