To replace the outdated M 131.1 series railcars, the Czechoslovak State Railways procured new two-axle diesel railcars with the series designation M 152.0. Delivered in series from 1975 onwards, the vehicles were powered by a 155 kW six-cylinder in-line engine and reached a top speed of 80 km/h. The passenger compartment offered 56 seats.
Over time, many color variations were produced. The variant with a beige stripe became established in the 1980s on the Czechoslovak State Railways. After the split of the CSD, the railcars, with and without trailers, were also in service on all branch lines of the Czech State Railways (CD).
Note: This model is a new product, created by overprinting certain details such as the running number or frame markings. The specific details are accurately reproduced according to the prototype. The models are offered at an attractive MSRP, as the overprinting may be visible to some extent.
