GER: E-Lok/Sound 044 115 RTI VI + PluX22 Dec.
Novelty 2025: The robust S499.02 locomotives were created in the mid-1970s as a further development of the BR S499.0. Apart from the sides, which were adorned with a wide fan belt to cool the transformer instead of the large windows, the locomotive body was similar to that of the E 469.3 DC locomotives.Between 1975 and 1981, 86 units were put into service at ČSD and used in front of both freight and passenger trains. In the 1980s, some of the locomotives received modern single-arm pantographs and in 1988 they were redesignated as class 242.
