Novelty 2024: Form variant of the BR E.428 of the FS in Era III. The Italian E.428 also has a stately appearance in the model: the elongated locomotive body and the massive leading bogies characterize the image. The new PIKO model reflects these attributes and the strikingly designed front excellently. The side surface is structured by fine rivet bands and the flush engine room windows. A powerful five-pole motor works in the housing. Two precisely balanced flywheels improve the running properties and help overcome small contact problems with the tracks. The model comes with a PSD XP sound decoder with the largest possible loudspeaker and has various lighting functions.
