Novelty 2024: The large side surfaces with the striking fans and the roof with a pantograph characterise the appearance of the modern Vectron Dual Mode. Great importance was also attached to details in the design and tooling: extremely vivid engravings of the ventilation grilles and bogies with an outstanding visual depth effect emphasise this. Technically, the model continues the proven line of PIKO designs. A powerful central motor is used for propulsion, two flywheel masses ensure excellent running characteristics and diagonally arranged traction tyres make it possible to transport long trains. In digital operation, the cab and cab lighting can be controlled digitally. The model is equipped with a PSD XP sound decoder ex works for this purpose, which, in combination with the large loudspeaker, also ensures a special sound experience on the model railway layout.
