Maintaining a sensual mood in the pre-Christmas period
The "Illuminated Christmas Tree" is perfect for recreating winter scenes in an even more realistic and idyllic way. The Christmas trees are fitted with LEDs, which are similar to a string of lights with light bulbs. The track widths that we specify for the trees are only recommendations. You can also use the small tree for the 0 gauge or set up the large one in a town square in N gauge. Let your imagination run wild!
The connection is made to the light output of a standard 16 V model railway transformer. Suitable for direct or alternating current connection. Alternatively, operation with a 12 V plug-in power supply (500 mA, AC/DC) is possible.
The Christmas tree can also be connected to a 9 V battery.
Note: The cables of our illuminated trees are coated with a non-conductive paint so that no short circuits can occur. You will see this paint on the cables in a copper tone. If you solder the cables to extensions or rub off the paint with fine sandpaper, the trees should light up.
